Clothing advice for Thórsmörk Super Jeep Tour first week of June -- snowy conditions?
Hi everyone, any insight into the weather around Thórsmörk first week of June to help me pack? I have a good layering system for hiking in New England in cool conditions that I think will serve me well in Iceland, but it looks like Thórsmörk is a different story altogether -- I saw photos of the tour in mid-May** that were showing a lot of snow, and it's making me wonder how much more I need to pack for that one day. Like, do I need snow pants? Heavy mittens? All my other days in Iceland will be in much milder locations/conditions along the South Coast and so my packing list is mostly rain/wind-resistant, wicking layers, but nothing for serious cold or snow.

**Edit: just realized the photos I saw showing a lot of snow were from mid-March, but still curious to know your experiences and tips if you have any.
