These uniform brown teardrop shaped pellets have appeared on a few of my houseplants, my propagated snake plant pictured. They don’t move and only gather on the planters and saucers, but not on the plants themselves.

Watering happens when the soil is dry at top and all planters have drainage. Lots of light from a west facing window. The plants otherwise seem healthy.

I’m going a bit crazy trying to figure out if they’re something harmless released from the soil mixture, pest droppings, or eggs (???).
