Some favourite new materials
Finally received a batch of new materials today, in small (5g) quantities as I find that's the easiest and most cost-effective way to explore the plethora of materials out there.
I had a sniff session just now, and wanted to show some love to some materials that are new to my nose.
- Tropicalia 10% DPG
- Divine, so fruity and rich. I think it could pair really nicely with Osmanthus.
- Passifloran 1% DPG
- Just like a ripe passionfruit!
- Isobutavan
- Smells so delicious, I can see how many gourmand possibilities can be unlocked with this material
- Hindinol
- Sandalwood-y as the description implies, but reportedly used as a top note. It's really nice. Going to try combine it with some lactones and see where that goes.
Happy formulating, DIYfragrance community!
