Day 4 update: 12 that are at day 4, 3 that are trailing behind (still showing 10 cells) and 5 that are quite far behind.

Day 3, we had 20, so the attrition/drop is making me feel anxious. The scientist who rang me said to expect a “significant drop off from day 4 to 5” which is making me feel even more anxious.

We still have to get to day 5 and then PGT-A testing.

Our numbers are:
42 collected
27 fertilised
20 day 3
12 (plus another 3 at 10 cells) at day 4

Am I being ridiculous by feeling defeated with this number/drop off? What was your drop off rates and what was your day 4 number?

I’m 27, PCOS and adenomyosis. 2 x miscarriages and 2 x chemicals.
