Why does my stool mushy and jelly like ?
Hi, my stool is coming like this for a couple of days. Is it something concerning ? Age 31 Male taking fiber husk two times a day And multi vitamins. No pain during bowel movement.

Why so much failures ?
Hi all, I have gone through many posts but frankly speaking very few cases are a success when it comes to getting this disease operated and surgically removed. Why so many failures ? Why so many recurrences ? What's the point of treating it when it has a high chance of coming back ?
I talked to a surgeon about this and he said that majority of cases considered as failures are because the fistula tract is not completely removed. If everything is removed then it does not come back. For complex cases, laser is a no go and fails most of the time, fistulotomy and fistulectomy are somewhat better.
It just messes my mind that we have made so much progress in technology and healthcare, yet, we still aren't able to treat this stupid disease.

Open wound closure
Hi, I had an open wound surgery 6 months ago, the wound is still open and draining yellow fluid which is kind of watery. I wanted to know how much time it takes for open wound to be skin shut and closed ?? Or should I go for a cleft lift with a prior MRI? This is my wound now, its in the middle of the cleft 3 or 4 cm above anus.
