Hi I (27F) am new to preply, right now it's my side gig as I freelance in the NGO field. It's literally day 2 for me, and it's so quiet haven't had a student yet. I've filled in 100% of my profile and am completing the preply language teaching certificate as advised by the platform, but I'd love to hear from experienced tutors on preply, how did you build up a steady schedule of students and realistically how long did it take you? I teach English by the way

Edit: I have a teaching qualification and please know it was not my intention to inspire any disdain for the people upset at this post please know I am just looking for help and an honest insight as a "green" teacher on the site so any detailed suggestions are welcome if you so wish
