I have a little bit of experience with braid but not a ton. This year I decided to try a fluorocarbon leader since it’s harder for the fish to see. That meant learning a new knot - the Albright knot. I practiced and practiced and eventually learned it. Took it out for the first time the other day and the knot either slipped or broke on a fish three times. I know it’s tough to say but any ideas on what I could be doing wrong? 8lb braid to 8lb fluoro. I got so frustrated I gave up and just went to straight braid.
