So I’m moving June 1st to my new unit and it’s about 300 miles where I live and it’s gonna be my new permanent station, I was told by my supply Sargent to use my GTC for gasoline when I travel but whenever I try to use DTS or make a voucher/ smart voucher instead I get lost and have no idea what to do. Can anyone help me?
My old unit did teach me a few things like being able to get $10,000 reimbursement for having 7,000 lbs. using my GTC for gas, hotel, and meals (I’ll probably use it most for gas). Most importantly making sure I’m green to go, however I’m kinda lost on the moving part because I was told I had to do everything MYSELF in order to get reimbursed for everything I paid for and I can’t hire people yet I get told something different from other people. My original plan was to hire a few people (2 or 3) to help me move my household goods and load up a truck and head to my new apartment. I wanna know how other people have done PCS and what they’d do differently now.
