I have been reading it since I was told it gets better after the first book, but I'm halfway through book 4, and I feel like nothing changes. I hate a lot of the characters and the plot, i just can't get behind it or find much interest i tried giving it a chance. The first half of book 1 was interesting, but after that it lost me, and since then i have forced myself to keep reading to see if i am missing something or if it gets better in later books, but im curious if it's just me or if others also experienced it reading it.
