has anyone else developed cystic acne after starting buspirone (anxiety medication)? i started on 30mg a day 2 months and was upped to 45mg one month ago. 2 weeks after starting there was an extremely noticeable difference in my facial acne. i now have large cystic acne covering one side of my face and my chin, i am 19 and i have never dealt with more than minor acne. when looking back it also seems to have worsened slightly when the dosage was upped. i have read that buspirone can cause acne in rare cases, i am thinking this possibly be a hormonal issue caused by the buspirone in combination with my age. has anyone else faced similar issues? thanks
