In September of 1957, Ed and Son's Magio Motion company was hired to create a series of 10-15 second claymation adverts for the Freddy's Bread company. The short commercials are credited on Wikipedia as the first official on-screen appearance of Fredbear, who would much later appear as the infamous mascot of Fredbear's Family Diner, as well as returning in animated form to host the moderately successful 2 season Nook series "FredBear and Friends"

The character has since ibeen scrubbleral from all Fazbear Entertainment marketing following multiple controversies. The company would go on to reintroduce the character in 2008 as the now iconic Freddy Fazbear.
