Does anyone else worry about job security??

With the advancement of AI and at home kits like Rhythm, I feel like phlebotomists will slowly start to be phased out. This is what I wanted to do as a career and I feel like it’s being threatened. I see ads for kits that draw from the bicep Instead of a vein and I see blood drawing machines on tik tok and it irritates me. I understand the convenience but I finally landed a job and I feel like it’s in danger

Frustrated and need advice

Finally got a phlebotomy job after months of looking. Did paperwork and have a start date, find out today I have a jury duty summons that is scheduled for my third day of work that I can’t postpone. I start on the 3rd and already let them know today so they have time to prepare. The company seems very strict on their new employee attendance guidelines and hire a lot of people so I already feel replaceable. Is there a possibility they will pull the offer or that having to miss is going to cost me this job? I’m so stressed I feel sick.
