A little nervous
I am 52, been on Nortrel 7/7/7 for years to make periods more manageable. No diagnosis of any conditions. And no extra bleeding or other problems. Pap smear 2 years ago came back ok, not due for anymore for another year , HPV negative. Type 2 diabetes controlled and on Mounjaro. They want me off my birth control, I was afraid because they were always so horrible without it and being on the pill, i have no idea about whether i reached peri or meno. Talked to gyno, she suggested lets take them out!!! OK! First step was internal ultrasound. Here's what it said: Uterus measures 7.1x3.9x3.6 cm. Mixed echogenicity is present at the level of the cervix. This extends into the lower uterine segment. The actual endometrial stripe is 8mm which is borderline. Ovaries were not seen due to overlying bowel gas. Impression: Questionable cervical mass.
HOW WORRIED SHOULD I BE???!? Have not heard from doc, just saw results pop up. Next normal step biopsy is scheduled for 6/8 (Will this be moved up??) And hysto tentatively scheduled for 6/28
