So, when I was a kid (early-mid 2000s) I remember watching this movie with my mother. All I remember is there was a young child, and they got injected in the back of the neck with some type of substance. It had a very sci fi feel to it, pretty sure the kid was laying down on a lab table while they were being injected.

Pretty sure the kid then grew this green abscess where the needle was injected and became very sick. That is all I remember but if someone can determine what film I mean then I'll be forever greatful 😬
