My thoughts on that generally disliked episode
Because I have it on now.
Del gives it away when he says, "No matter what happens tonight, I'm doing it for you".
He knew exactly what he was doing. I don't mean that in a bad day. Del realised she was going through a phase, just a tourist. He figured they could at least earn something out of the situation.
