Can I move my two hedgies in together?
I have two female hedgehogs that I have acquired since Thanksgiving. One of them was about a year and a half at that point and she was surrendered to a vet. She is extremely nervous and not comfortable with people. Around January I got another hedgehog and she was about two months at that point. She’s not super social with humans either. They both seem to enjoy bathtime and when I get out of the bath, I wrap each of them up in a fleece blanket, and then put them in the same very small Tupperware container while I clean their separate habitats. They have never had any issues with each other and mostly ignore each other. A a few times they have seemed to snuggle up to each other a little bit during this time. I have a camera on them and check-in on them from time to time throughout the day.
Can anyone give any guidance on integrating them into the same habitat? Do I need to wheels? Should I get habitat twice as big as they individually have? Should I expect fighting? I don’t think they would be aggressive with food since I leave their food and water out and they eat and drink when they would like to.
