Keep it covered or let it breathe?
I have a really bad flair up all around my finger (very inconvenient area) and I wanted to know if keeping it wrapped up or letting it breathe makes a difference? I bought those individual finger condoms to wear to work to cover it because I wash my hands and just overall use my hands a lot and the ointment comes off but I only wear the covers at work. Should I be letting it breathe during the day? Is a finger condom better than a bandaid or should I switch? All of this is while I have otc ointment on it btw if that makes any difference. It’s partially to keep the ointment on and also to not get greasy ointment everywhere but also to lessen the frequent application- I keep it with me to reapply but still- also I’m sure washing my hands dries my hands out which means drying out the already irritated and itchy area but overall just curious if keeping it wrapped in a finger condom is a bad thing or should I get bandaids instead or should I just be letting it out to breath.
