I’m looking to upgrade a window unit AC for my bedroom and would love to get a newer, “quiet” tech inverter style however it seems like manufacturers like Windmill and TCL require a minimum 22 inch opening. The problem is my very old UWS walkup has one bedroom window and it is only 21 inches wide when open.

Any UWS residents deal with a similar issue? Looking for any recommendations on brands / models that fit or workarounds for the above mentioned brands’ 6K BTU units.
