Looking to hire an Engineer/Service Pit Boss specializing in rally car setup
Not really, but I kinda feel like I want to.
I'm a novice rally 'enthusiast' and have played rally games since Colin McRae Rally w/various wheels, all Logitech*.
Since it's more of a fun hobby that I like to play to keep my reflexes sharp and with limited time to play these days, I like to drop in, run a few stages and just enjoy the game while trying to improve my times.
To put it another way, I get happy when I break top 100. No champagne but a definite hands in the air "YES!" moment for this driver.
That all said, the car setups are kicking my ass, and w/a limited play window it's hard for me to dial in the settings for the best experience.
Is there already, or will there be a website/app/other that provides improved baseline setups for the cars on various stages?
OR
Do y'all think the stock setups provided in-game will change between now and Ver 1.0 release to better reflect each stage's needs?
I'm having the time of my life with this game but am frustrated by my lack of good engineering skills.
*Please don't start in on getting a better wheel - if I were a better driver I'd consider it, but this is a hobby and upgrading equipment is not in the budget this fiscal, unfortunately. My G923 Trueforce suits my needs/time allowance, but if I win the lotto you bet your ass I'll be buying a better wheel.
