I have a fox face for mounting that I skinned, fleshed etc. but as I was finishing it, the fur started slipping around the nose and mouth area. I put it in a bag and froze it along with the paws and tail.
It’s been frozen since yesterday, but will this stop the fur slipping when I thaw it to mount it?
There is also fly eggs on it… which I will have to brush out.
I got this from a bone box ordered from Deer Park, Washington, so I’m not sure what it could be.. any ideas? It’s about 6-7 inches long.
I’m almost 100% sure its a pitbull (I have the whole skeleton, including skull)
Possible bone cancer or something else? The leg bones also have some bone spur-like spots and porous ish!
The scapula also has a hole in it which looks like bone grew around it but not in it..
It was found dumped in a ditch which is very unusual!
Could it also just be age? The teeth look pretty worn down in some spots. Ask for pictures if needed :)
