Overbridge plugin changing velocity to a value of 1 on some tracks (DN2) in logic pro

Anyone experienced this and solved it?
Recording Digitone 2 in Logic Pro using the overbrdige plug in.

Tracks 1-9 suddenly had their velocity value change from 100 to 1. Tracks 9-16 were unaffected.

Disconnected DN2 from USB. Fixed the velocity values for the affected tracks, saved project.

Powered off the DN2 and reconnected to USB and reopened the logic project, and upon playing the song, the velocities reset to 1 on the same tracks, 1-9.

(For context some of those tracks have trigs, but most do not).

Troubleshooting: Disconnected from USB, created a brand new DN2 project and through some trigs down son track 1 and track 9.

Saved the pattern and project. Closed Dn2.

Hooked it back up to USB.

Created new Logic project. Played it from Logic. No issues. All velocities stayed at 100.

BUT THEN!

I opened the mixer window in logic and clicked the little + on the channel strip to create aux tracks for the Digitone software instrument. Then when played the pattern again the velocity value for tracks 1-8 changed to a value of 1. Tracks 9-16 stayed at 100. (This is slightly different from the issue for the other project where tracks 1-9 were effected instead of 1-8.)

Overbridge is most current version.
DN2 is 1.10E
Logic is 11.2.2

What the hell is going on?!!

Song mode question with Digitakt II and Digitone II together

I am using digitakt 2 to send clock and program changes to the digitone 2.

When I am using song mode on the digitakt, it works great, changes the pattern as expected on the digitone.

However, while in song mode, if I change the number of steps a pattern should play for — for example, telling song mode to have a 64-step pattern play only for 32-steps and then change to the next pattern, it does that correctly on Digitakt, but digitone plays all 64 steps before switching to the next pattern and then is 16 steps behind.

Is this just a limitation of song mode with two boxes or am I missing something?

As far as I can tell, the easiest solution if I am not doing something wrong is to make a duplicate of the 64-step pattern on both units and simply reduce the pattern down to 32 steps, again on both units, and use that instead of changing the number of steps within song mode. Any other way to do this without duplicating patterns?

(For further context, Digitakt II is in song mode, Digitone II is not. So all song mode program changes are coming from digitakt and are not duplicated on the digitone.)

I bought a used Analog Heat + FX off of Reverb and it looks to be in good condition. Everything seemed to function properly at first, but twice now, while it was engaged and audio was passing through it but without me touching the box or changing parameters, it randomly bugged out on its own:

  • The first time the right output cut out completely. I turned it off, unplugged outputs and inputs and checked cables, but couldn't find any issues. Hooked it all back up and everything worked fine when I powered it back on.
  • The second time, again, while audio was passing through, but I wasn't touching the unit or changing anything, the distortion (I was on the saturation setting) suddenly increased drastically. I disengaged the unit, engaged it back on and reset the distortion settings and everything seemed stable again.

I have a couple other Elektron boxes so I am somewhat familiar with the systems, but admittedly am still new to this universe. I have only had the unit for a week or so, so perhaps I am overlooking something. But these two things happening when I wasn't even touching the box make it seem like something is wrong.

Any similar experiences? Did you find the cause?
