This wool seems to enjoy fine spinning so I am seeing how far I can push it 😂. I might need to find some patience though

This is my next spin (bonus wheel photo!). Slightly felted extremely deep stash (i bought it when I lived in a different state so it’s at least 16 yrs old). Label lost to time but I think it might be Rambouillet (my favourite type of wool for spinning) from a dyer who retired who I really loved - cloudlover

This is what those two bobbins ended up looking like. Really quite happy with how they turned out for something that was in time out for over 12 months. Not sure if I want to weave or knit with them so I will have a sit and think about that.

One braid of malabrigo nube on each bobbin (colourways lost to the mists of time as this is an I really need to finish that project I started an embarrassingly long time ago scenario). It was originally going to have a third ply in another colourway but between starting this spinning project and now I have discovered weaving and have decided to spin these each as a two ply and then turn them into my next weaving project (I have an 8 shaft floor loom so that will be really fun). Wish me luck as I wind these off, split them in hopefully vaguely even halves and then ply them. There is no way I am spinning from both ends of a ball for this.
