Shroom first timers - just the best time and a wonderful place
It was the first time for my two friends to have shrooms - we’re late 40s early 50s and I have only tried a couple of times before, but I felt it was something that would be special for three old friends who usually just get drunk together. We found a glamping site in the south west of England, has a nice pub lunch then got back and just crunched up about 1.6G each with some lemonade, at about 4pm. The first hour was pretty tough for us all - felt very weird and slightly uncomfortable being on a campsite with other people. I reassured them that the feeling would pass, but at that point everyone was really thinking “I never want to do this again”.
About an hour later. It started to feel really good, we relaxed, shared stories and talked about things we’d usually feel too uncomfortable to talk about - and all with a super clear, happy, joyful mind. Then the visuals kicked in, the clouds started growing tendrils, the sunset was just beautiful and we were all just happy to be alive, in a nice place with people we loved.
By about 8pm, we all felt ready for my reserve 4g, which we divided up equally, ground up and let sit in lemon juice for 20 mins then drank back. About 23 minutes later it was like a thick wave of bliss took over, the clear night’s stars started swimming and twinkling in the sky, we saw shooting stars and talked about how great it was to be there.
We all turned in about 11pm feeling full of joy, had the deepest sleep then woke up about 8am feeling totally rested and still on top of the world. So nice to wake up feeling good without a hangover - almost feels weird that not only do we not have to ‘pay’ for such a good evening with a hangover, like we would have with booze, but we actually feel renewed. Well all go home and hug our wives and kids being grateful for having them.
It’s definitely something we will do again. Now my friends both know that the first hour turns into pure joy and bliss, we’ll probably start with lemon tek and push through for the fuller experience with 2.5g to start.
