Holy shit. Has anyone here actually seen it? I watched it last night and couldn't believe what I was seeing. It's about a man who gets a penis transplant and goes on a quest to figure out who the donor was. It's wild. And seeing the songs in their filmic context is... also wild.
So I was listening to Percy, and the first song is "God's Children," and this got me thinking that Ray doesn't really sing/write about God much. So I'm wondering if anyone can give me some Kinks songs that mention God. Either about God or just a brief mention or anything at all.
I'm not looking to start a big theological discussion or anything, just following a rabbit trail here...
(This is part of a year-long Kinks listening project, and I'm just at Percy now. So if God or religion becomes a much bigger part of Ray's songwriting after this, I don't know about it yet.)
