I did lessons years ago but decided to get a motorbike instead. I’ve been doing lessons again the last few months. When I started, I asked if there was a particular way I had to steer and have my hands on the wheel. My instructor told me no.
My test is a month away and I’ve just googled if that’s the case, and I’ve seen that “you must maintain proper control of the steering wheel, usually keeping both hands on the wheel at 9 and 3 or 10 and 2 positions “
Are there any instructors on here that can verify this? Im wondering if this is a method my instructor is using to get me to fail. We have been doing mock tests, I had 2 passes with no minors and 2 with serious faults, one was meeting traffic, caused a car to slow down when going down a narrow road and then one when I went over a lane like you couldn’t see before a roundabout.
Nervous about my test but also confident.
