Is there any way to find out how many arch users exist?

Hi so is it’s possible to(title)?
I want to know how many active users arch have to brag about it by my windows 11 friends. Is there any website for it? Or even better is there a website to see how many active Linux user exist in total?

(I posted this to arch even though I wanted to post it to Linux, they don’t have the question flair)

If you know tell me please and thx in advance!:)

Help me find an Os for school:)

Hi, I’m searching for a Linux distro for school. My school is beginning in 2-3 weeks and i need a distro that works good for my school laptop. I used arch, Zorin os, mint etc but I just can’t find the one. Here are my prerequisites:

**•**Needs to have good performance; i am a Linux user because my school laptop can’t run windows 11 without it frying my table so i am searching for a distro that is not to heavy for an 8Gb Dell laptop.

•Has to be easy to configure; I like Linux a lot and I like tinkering with it but for school I just need everything working.

•I don’t really need it to be Linux but a chrome os fork would also be nice because of its software support and good battery capabilities.

Thank you if you read everything, if you have any idea of a distro that works for me type it below 👇

THX in advance

Edit:

Soooo…. I got some really good recommendation. I really like them. Here is a list of ones I might try, I want to try and ones I think are the best for me:

Ones I might try: Fedora workstation, Manjaro, kubuntu

Ones I want to try (so I’m interested): AntiX, KDE fedora, EduBuntu

Ones I think are the best for (I’m going to watch a vid about all of them): MX Linux XFCE ASH, AntiX, Q4OS

Thx everybody for your support and suggestions see ya 👋

Which one should I choose?

So I’m trying to find the best browser for daily driving. I am a Linux user and privacy isn’t my biggest concern. I’m more of a guy that needs performance and aesthetic together. So I was looking at Firefox, Librewolf and zen but I just don’t know which one to pick. It has to meet my criteria:

•Has to be highly customizable with Firefox.css files (I don’t know if zen is capable of that)

•Has to be smooth and good for searching things up; fast for gaming

•Has to be good with privacy but it doesn’t need to much, so privacy isn’t my highest concern and it doesn’t really matter.

If you know which one is the best for me tell it me with some good reasoning. Thank in advance.

Again, thanks everyone for giving me recommendations, I tried all 3 of them with basic tests. Here is my conclusion:

• The Ram test was the first one I did; I opened 5 tabs on each browser (not at once) and I looked at how much ram it took. The tabs were YouTube homepage, a Wikipedia page about the Linux mascot tux, Google Maps, Reddit homepage and the website monkey type. Libre wolf had the best performance and zen had the worst at number three. Firefox was in the middle but I didn’t really matter because it were like 300-500 MIB of Ram difference between zen and librewolf. I have 16GIB so all of them were fine.

•The second test was a customization test; Firefox is already really easy to customize with a custom css and because librewolf and zen are Firefox based it was pretty easy to decide. Librewolf and Firefox were basically the same when talking about customization but zen had way more things like zen mods and other stuff in the settings so I was considering zen.

•The last test was using it for around 10 minutes doing random stuff, I did each one beginning with Firefox and ending with zen, I was just studying so that I can see which one is perfect for me and zen browser is the one I’m going for. It was really nice to use because I had my tabs really easy to pick because of the special tab group to give tabs priority and I’m already using a left side panel on my Linux desktop so it felt right. Ik that Firefox and Librewolf both have vertical tabs but with zen it just felt right and Firefox has bloat so that’s also something I don’t like about it. This was all my honest opinion and I did all tests myself so I know what I’m choosing instead of believing everything I see on the internet. Thanks to all the people that recommended me browsers and have a nice day👍

Here is a guide on how to set your mouse cursor on hyprland!

Try and first get your mouse cursor theme. I'l just use Breeze dark. You can get the theme you like at Gnome-look.org
After that extract the file you downloaded and put it in the /local/share/icons folder. Make sure there is a folder named index.theme in the folder you extracted. I think you can create a new folder in there called index.theme if it isn't there. After that, go to the hyprland config folder in terminal: nano ~/.config/hypr/hyprland.conf
And go to environment variables, copy paste this in there:

env = XCURSOR_THEME,Breeze_Dark

env = XCURSOR_SIZE,26

And if you want an other theme or cursor size feel free to change the name to the cursor theme in the /local/share/icons folder. After that go to autostart in the config and copy paste this in there:

exec-once = hyprctl setcursor Breeze_Dark 26

And again, feel free to change the size and and theme to whatever you want.
And as a final thing thing to do, leave the config whit CTRL O, Enter, CTRL X to save everything and leave the config. The only thing to doe now is to download nwg look whit: sudo pacman -S nwg-look

After that type nwg-look in the terminal and if done correctly a menu will open. In the tabs above go to Mouse Cursor, select the mouse cursor theme you like and make sure it matches the size of the env rules and exec once rule in the config. After that click apply and reboot your computer. And if everything is done correctly your cursor has changed.☺️
