Potential Heat Damage To IBM Model M122

I recently purchased an IBM Battleship style keyboard (picture from ebay listing, It has yet to arrive). Its delivery is unfortunately scheduled to be while I am away. I am concerned that the keyboard sitting in the mailbox may be damaged from the heat of the weather and that the metal mailbox may emulate a similar situation to a hot car. Assuming a similar heat-level over time to cars, it could potentially reach temperatures of 120 F ( ˜ 49c).

If it reaches these temperatures, how likely is it to damage my keyboard? and how repairable would that damage be?
