I am looking for your advice if/what GPU to upgrade to - My current build is a Ryzen 5 5600 with 32GB DDR4 and a AMD RX 580 8GB. I'm looking to upgrade my GPU as it's barely able to play the game(s) I want anymore, namely Deadlock. I have a 1440p, 95Hz monitor, so looking to play at decent settings for the next 5+ years.
I don't really play much AAA titles, but I'd like to play Forza Horizon 6 or Metal Gear Solid Delta at ok settings, for reference. Usually I play less graphically demanding games or older games.
I am looking at getting a used 6800 XT (which seems to be around 400-500 CAD on FB marketplace), but was wondering what other cards might be around that price range or lower, and will last a while? Would a card around this price be strong enough either?
I'm also wondering your perspectives on the used market vs the new market in terms of performance for dollar over the long term - is it actually cheaper in the long term to get a used card?
