Job offer

I have a confirmed EOD but waiting for a salary review. Recruiter said it could take a couple weeks. I want to give my current job at least a 2 week notice before resigning. How safe do you think it is (given I was told I’ll get an FJO ) to resign without actually having the letter in hand ?

Anyone get an extra degree or cert while waiting on an FJO? Did you get an increase? How long did it take for them to issue the FJO letter after getting the FJO email?
