I’m a beginner at makeup and recently bought a foundation and concealer as my skin is really dry.

I moisturise before makeup and I’m using a hydrating foundation, but it still breaks up on my skin and looks uneven straight after applying it. I have a beauty blender and brush.

I’ve tried different application methods but it keeps happening and it’s really frustrating because I just want it to sit nicely.

Does anyone know what could be causing this or what I should change in my routine?
