I was rewatching atla and I realized that we only ever see female water benders heal. Can only women heal? The only characters I can think of that we’ve seen heal are Katara, Yagoda, Korra, Kyoshi, and Yangchen. Obviously all women. Since healing was traditionally done in the northern water tribe by women exclusively, it’s possible that it’s just remnants of those social norms, but it is kinda weird that we never see a man heal (that I can think of, I may be totally wrong).
