Tried my hand at making a non-colonial Australian flag
The yellow represents the sun and the Outback. I decided to keep the Southern Cross stars and the 7-pointed star, making it a centerpiece. The Christmas Islands bird is set to represent the diverse wildlife in Australia, and the red and black stripes are references to the Aboriginal Australian flag. The blue stripe represents the original flag and the vast oceans.
