WOTD: One of the last true Swiss stars from Omax.

This isn't one of those ordinary budget Omax pieces we see today. It's a little piece of history from the 1970s that defines the golden era of the brand, powered by a 17-jewel Swiss FHF 96-4 caliber.

Between the golden and silver face and those 24-hour markers, all set in a distinct TV dial, this watch never fails to put a smile on my face. What do you guys think?

Spent my weekend building a lightweight, systemd-free daily driver. Devuan + i3wm.

The Stack:

  • Base: Devuan 13
  • WM: i3wm
  • Launcher: Rofi
  • Bar: Polybar
  • Compositor: Picom (Transparency & opacity effects)
  • Widget: Conky (Clock and Weather)

It feels incredibly fast and responsive. I’m still getting used to the i3 workflow, but it’s exactly the level of control I was looking for.

What’s next? I’d love some suggestions for customization tweaks. Looking for any aesthetic or functional tips!

Took a chance on a fashion house watch. Zero regrets.

I used to overlook fashion brand watches, but actually buying and wearing this one completely changed my mind.
