HELP.

I recently had a minor operation on my right shoulder because of a cyst. It’s been 2 months since I started going to the gym consistently.
Honestly, I don’t know what to feel right now. Going to the gym already became part of my routine, and now maybe they will stop me from going to the gym hopefully not.

Do I still need to take creatine or whey protein while resting? The doctor told me not to lift for 2 weeks, and I’m currently on a calorie deficit as well. Will I slowly lose muscle while I’m resting in that span of weeks or month?

Any thoughts?

It’s been nearly 2 months since I started going to the gym 3x a week (push, pull, legs/core) while being on a calorie deficit to lose some weight, along with a protein intake of around 120g–150g.

I don’t really see a huge difference in my body yet, but there are signs of progress. My jeans and shirts are starting to feel a bit looser. Some people also say I’ve lost weight and look more solid than before instead of “floppy chubby.” I guess this is what they call “body recomposition,” but I’m not really sure.
In terms of the food I eat, I’ve managed to still enjoy what I like as long as I track it and stay within my calories. I didn’t want to do a super strict diet and end up burning out. I just want to stay consistent.

Now I’m wondering, am I going too slow? I just want to enjoy the journey. Am I doing things the wrong way? Some people say beginners should focus on compound training, but I’m doing push, pull, and legs/core. Still, I’ve noticed some muscle improvements.

Within those 2 months, I lost around 4kg — from 72kg to 67.4kg. Is that considered slow?

Edit.
work 2 jobs a day and an hour of gym
