i can read music notes on a music sheet well, same with playing, however the issue i keep facing is that when i dont look at the keyboard i sometimes accidentally hit the wrong notes.

for example if we had the notes A then F, as i am looking at the sheet while hitting the notes i find myself accidentally hitting e or d rather than the F note. i will continue to hit the wrong note (i think this is because of muscle memory?) unless i look down to my hands to see the correct note to play.

i think this is really limiting my skills to play more efficiently and would gladly appreciate any advice. also i am still pretty new to piano and have only been playing for 2-3 months. i am self taught as i dont have the finances to afford a piano sadly and is playing piano as a hobby 😁
