7 Stone Down
Just wanted to share my experience with Mounjaro so far because reading other people’s posts really helped me when I started.
I’m currently 7 stone down, which still feels crazy to say out loud. I’ve stayed on 5mg the entire time and never moved up doses. The appetite suppression definitely isn’t as strong as it was at the beginning, but honestly I don’t see that as a bad thing anymore.
What Mounjaro still gives me is that pause before making food decisions. Instead of constantly battling cravings or impulsively eating, I feel like I can actually think about what I’m choosing. It’s less about “not wanting food” now and more about having control and balance around it.
For me, that’s been the biggest long-term benefit because it feels sustainable rather than relying purely on heavy suppression.
More than anything, I’ve genuinely enjoyed the journey. I feel healthier, more confident, more active, and honestly like a completely new person compared to where I was before starting.
If anyone is worried because the suppression drops over time, don’t automatically think it’s stopped working. Sometimes the real progress is learning new habits while still having that extra support there in the background.
