Passed Naplex on my second attempt!

I have passed the Naplex.🥳🥳 It was not easy after the first attempt being that I’m a new mom. But it is possible. I only completed the pharmpreppro exams.
- PPP ATTEMPT 1: 10 days before my exam — 73
- PPP ATTEMPT 2: 4 days before my exam — 78

  1. Have belief that you will succeed. Pour into yourself and speak positively over you!
  2. Practice Calculations everyday. I did because this was a weak area for me! I had questions on CRCL, few TPN questions, adj body weight, ANC, etc I had roughly 15 math-20 math questions.
  3. Do not attempt to memorize every detail in the chapter. It is literally impossible. Think what is most important and know the big details of side effects, BBW, etc. It was not a lot of brand names on there but there were some esp in the hypertension (for example: (Caduet- Amlodipine + atorvastatin) and HIV chapters.
  4. Chemo man was enough for my exam.
  5. My exam was heavy in BIOSTATS (several charts to interpret), vaccines, ethics/leadership, pharmacy foundations 1. I had a few questions on dyslipidemia and compounding (for example: mineral oil is a wetting/levitating agent)
  6. make sure you know what drugs treat the common infections in ID II (For example: about meningitis treatment and which common pathogen cause meningitis.
  7. For biostats, be familiar with calculations and know what they mean. For example: How to interpret a CI of 0.79-0.93 or ARR. Be able to distinguish between cohort vs case control. Also what does the pvalue mean and how to interpret if is greater or smaller than alpha.
  8. Lithium toxicity
  9. Dietary supplements like Kava, Valerian and the most common side effects associated with them
  10. Make sure you are familiar with teach styles in preceptorship!
  11. Trastuzuman and what does it target — HER2 receptor
  12. Gout— which is best if someone is HLA-B*5801.. allopurinol or febuxostat— Also the main side effect with colchine
  13. Calculate chadsvasc
  14. Restless leg syndrome treatment
  15. Impetigo treatment
  16. Be sure to know the antidote for Benzos, Tylenol and alcohol.
  17. Be sure to know what is considered osteoporosis vs osteopenia ( the T- score)
  18. Know the QT prolonging drugs
  19. Know what drugs to avoid in pregnancy
  20. Know the recall severities.
  21. Know how Ora quick is done. (It is a rapid HIV test and swab the mouth.)
  22. The phases of clinical trials. (for example: which clinical phase focusing on the dosage range or max dosages)

Compiled list of topics

Does anyone have a compiled or summary of what most people have said they have seen or remember being on the NAPLEX? If so can I have it? My test is in a week.

All topics of high yield topics?

Do you guys go through the entire book or focus on the high yield topics? I have been attempting to finish the book. It’s seems impossible and I am not remembering everything. Is there a study plan for a 30 day test. I’m planning to take mine in July instead of June
