So I've been thinking and I've come to 3 different methods. I'll name each method, explain it and say whitch demigod uses it(intencionally or not)

So, let's get into it:

The Jack-of-All-Trades Method (Percy) - This is the method in which the hero very often receives attention from the gods, but only when the gods need something. In other words, the attention always comes with a task, and parental pride is always tied to how well they’ve made that god look in the eyes of the other gods. This method ultimately results in a relationship where the demigod is used and completely exploited by the gods.

The indifference method (Blanche) - Iris pays attention to Blanche because she only wears monochromatic colors. In a way, she is giving Iris the same treatment the gods give their children. Since Blanche is completely indifferent, the gods (narcissists that they are) chase after her because their egos are wounded. However, as soon as the demigod pays even the slightest attention, the gods immediately lose interest in him because their ego has been appeased. This method only works if the demigod really doesn’t care.

The Villain’s Method (Luke, to a certain extent) - If the demigod becomes a threat, you can be sure his father will pay him a lot of attention. However, it will be the kind of attention that wishes for the son’s death (which wasn’t the case with Luke), so this method is not recommended.

These are the methods I’ve come up with. What other methods do you think would catch the attention of a divine relative? Which do you think is the best method?

P.S. Blanche is a daughter of Iris who appears in *The Chalice of the Gods*

So this is kind of silly, but I came up with a theory about why Hera only let Percy remember Annabeth and no one else. I think that, according to the prophecy, he would always find his way to the other demigods without any [or almost any] memories, but leaving him with the memory of Annabeth helped him for a few reasons, such as: To give him something to fight for; leaving a memory helped him not to give up, in my opinion.

But that brings us to the big question. Why a memory of Annabeth and not of Sally?

Of course, it could be because they’re both part of the Prophecy of the Seven, but I also think there was another reason.

Hera is the goddess of marriage and strongly opposes cheating. If he had Annabeth’s memory, he would realize she was someone special to him, so he wouldn’t fall in love with anyone else. So it was to prevent that that Hera left Annabeth’s memory.

Like I said, it’s a bit of a silly theory, but I’d like to know what you think.
