Scout 39 fix

Can anyone advise how I go about retaining the blade in the handle? This is my son’s knife and I think there was some type of retainer in the bottom of the pommel but it’s since been lost. My best guess is a spring pin but thought I’d ask before just trying stuff. The hole at the bottom is just shy of .250 inch or 6mm diameter. Thanks!

Trails End Inn re-open (KV)?

Anyone know what’s going on with the Trails End Inn in Keene Valley? Since the fire over a year ago I haven’t seen any update on their website. It initially sounded like they were going to try to re-open by the spring but doesn’t seem to be the case.

My wife and I have fond memories of that place, any update would be appreciated!
