I didn’t really want to shell out a ton of money for a rainbow Ultron set, so I elected to just get all 4 kinds of his /75 purple refractors instead.

I opened 16 con boxes today one of them being a BB. These are the only ones I felt worth showing, I got 4 /100, 1 more /50, 1 other /75, and 5 total /250. Also 5 vs blasters.

The Human Torch is the only one I had to buy on my own. After getting The Thing, Mister Fantastic, and Invisible Woman. I decided I had to finish the set, and it’s also a 50/50 to match The Invisible Woman card.

It seems people are no longer worried about missing out on these cards. I saw an /10 Sentry go for sub 50 today. And plenty of other big name characters going for under 10 bucks. I got both of these for about 32 bucks in auction after shipping. 11.50 for the Iron Fist, and 10 for the Sentry. For reference I got a Gamma refractor /99 Sentry for 20$ a couple weeks ago. It’s not as though these are unpopular characters either, Sentry has a very large fanbase that is only growing. Iron Fist may no longer have his own show, but he’s still very well known and liked. I’m not sure if these cards will over go back up in value especially the /50’s since there’s 4 types of them for each base character. My main point being it seems like now is the time to start buying for your PC.

What’re your opinions on cards that are the “final print” of the numbered card. I see people try to sell them for more, I just think it’s cooler and I guess if someone wants to pay extra for it that’s fine. However I’m not really sure if it makes much of a difference. I’ve just go into collecting cards like these recently. And like them a lot so far.

This is where I’m at after spending more than I probably should have opening packs, in terms of numbered cards. Also one gem stone, I probably haven’t exactly made my money back, but at least the cards are cool.
