My gyno started me on birth control (estrogen/progesterone combo) while I was perimenopausal. It worked great! She told me it wasn’t a “real” period I was having just withdrawal bleeding. I’m now in menopause and about to start estrogen 0.0375 mg patch and progesterone 100 pill. I know this is a dumb question. Will I get a “real” period while on the patch/pill? I’m so confused and wanted to ask more seasoned menopause professionals 🤗
