I am a Croatian considering moving to Uruguay (And get citizenship eventually). I have read quite disheartening comments in the asklatinamerica sub about treatment of foreigners across the continent.

So naturally this has made me reconsider. After all i see how people of croatia treat foreign workers (with resentment, aggresivness, and blaming them for all the problems in Croatia). How is the situation in Uruguay about that?

How strong is the mindset of "us vs them"?
