for anyone not understanding what is happening here
first of all dont worry i myself had questionmarks in my head when this happend
I legit thought i was going crazy

but to explain
his soul is supposed to give him 1 instant stamina refill on break
and hits soul slows his opponents stamina recovery down on break
which is why his stamina didnt came back instantly
only very very fast
