Ok not actually like I’m scared. But I need the real lore-head yappers for this one.
I don’t play HSR and I never plan to. It’s a gameplay thing, it’s just not my taste. However, I am really intrigued by several HSR characters and Ashveil is top of the list right now.
However, I don’t understand……anything about him. Every cutscene and screen shot and additional media I see of him leaves me with more questions than answers. And unfortunately it doesn’t seem like HSR has a wiki that’s more than just what his in-game profile says, which feels like it explains maybe 10% of his character/story.
He seems like he’s simultaneously a looney tunes comedy detective and some really traumatized yet OP edgelord supreme. I don’t get it.
Please, help me understand his lore and character! You can tell me literally anything about him, from his past to his present to his abilities to his character relationships. But please keep in mind that I don’t know overarching HSR lore, so any significant places or people from deeper lore that are related to him might need at least a little contextual information for me to get it. (For example, I read something about the “shadow” in his arm having consumed several significant names in the past, but I have no idea what things like “the Swarm” are)
