Looking to finally re-upholster the driver's seat cushions on a 2000 Mastercraft ProStar 195. (The Gorilla tape is a bit too sticky for legs and shorts!).

A local boat upholstery shop has quoted $474 to recover these two cushions (bottom and back, not the whole seat itself). Their work is top quality, but this seems high.

Has anyone used after-market replacement seats in this boat? Overtons, for example, has an entire seat available for $199. But it's hard to tell if it will fit. (link below)

The structure of the original seat is fine -- we just need to redo the seat and lumbar/back cushion. Perhaps new seat skins would be the easiest and most cost effective?

Many thanks for insights.
