Hey r/sugarfree!

Like many of you here, I’ve been working on cutting out added sugar. But when I was looking for an app to track my progress, I kept running into the same issues: forced account sign-ups, cluttered UIs, or ridiculous $5/month subscriptions just to log daily habits.

As an indie dev, I decided to build a lightweight tool for myself called No Sugar Tracker. I wanted it to be as straightforward as possible:

• 100% Offline & Private: No account needed, no tracking, and all your data stays strictly on your phone.
• Distraction-Free: Simple logging for sugar-free days, cravings, and milestone streaks without the extra bloat.
• No Subscriptions: One clean, standalone utility without monthly lock-ins.

The app is live on Android now. To give back to this community, I’m giving away Lifetime Pro Promo Codes ($1.99 value) for free, which will unlock all Pro features and completely remove all ads forever.

How to get a code: Just leave a comment below and I’ll DM you a promo code!

(If you try it out and find it helpful, leaving an honest review on the Play Store would mean the world to an independent developer like me. Any feedback/critique is also super welcome!)

Hi Reddit,

I’m an independent developer and I’m excited to share my latest passion project with you: Since Then: Day Counter.

We’ve all got dates that changed our lives—the day we quit smoking, the day we met our partners, the day a baby was born, or simply the start of a new personal journey. I wanted to build a tool that honors these milestones gracefully.

Unlike traditional habit trackers that punish you with "broken streaks" or spam you with stressful notifications, Since Then is a quiet, gentle count-up. It turns your life milestones into beautiful, aesthetic art on your home screen.

✨ Key Features:

• 📅 Day Counter & Days Since: Count the days that have passed since any significant event.
• 🎨 Stunning Widgets: Beautiful small, medium, and large widgets designed to look like desktop art.
• 🔒 100% Offline & Private: Zero registration, zero cloud sync, zero trackers. Your memories stay strictly on your device.
• 🌸 Aesthetic Themes: Gorgeous color palettes (Beige, Sage, Rose, etc.) to match your phone’s aesthetic.
• 🔔 Milestone Reminders: Gentle notifications at day 30, 100, and 365.

🎁 How to get PRO for FREE (One-Time Purchase):

I really want to get this into the hands of people who will love it. I am giving away PRO Promo Codes to the Reddit community.

To get your lifetime PRO code:

1. Leave a comment below (tell me what milestone you plan to track, or just say hi!).
2. I will send you a DM with your promo code as fast as I can.

(Psst... As an indie dev, I don't have a marketing budget. If you like the app, sharing your honest feedback on the Play Store or helping this post get some visibility (upvotes) would honestly mean the world to me and help me keep updating it. Thank you so much for supporting indie creators! ❤️)

Hey r/SideProject,

For the past few years I’ve been struggling with sugar addiction. I’d start a “no sugar” streak, feel great for a week, then cave in after seeing desserts or stressed snacking. I tried journals and regular habit apps, but nothing really clicked for sugar-specific tracking.

So a few months ago I decided to build my own tool: No Sugar Tracker — Quit Sugar.

What it does:

• Daily streaks & longest streak history (the dopamine hit when you see the number grow is real)
• Custom goals & reminders
• Simple progress logging (I ate sugar today / clean day)
• Home screen widgets for quick check-in
• Clean, minimal design with achievements to keep motivation up
• Completely offline, no account required, privacy-focused

I’ve been using it myself for over 2 months now and it’s genuinely helped me stay consistent. The streak visualization makes it feel like a game.

I’m still very early stage (solo indie dev), so I’d love honest feedback:

• What features would make this more useful for you?
• Is the UI intuitive?
• Any pain points in quitting sugar that I could help track?
• Would you actually use something like this?

If you’re trying to cut down on sugar (or know someone who is), feel free to try it out. Completely free right now.

Thanks for reading, and happy building everyone! 🚀
