Medical emergency on board
About 50 minutes before the planned landing the cabin crew asked if there was a medical professional in board. A guy from my row (21) popped up and hurried to the front (row 6). A pessenget got sick on board and needed immediate attention. The passenger was laid down onto the aisle, and an oxygen mask and water was brought a few minutes later. I didn't see what was happening as I was sitting by the window.
We ended up landing 20 minutes earlier. Not sure if this is because we were in a hurry or if this was normal, but my nervous-flyer self noticed we were dropping altitude quite quickly.
We got priority landing, and the ambulance was waiting. Oddly, it doesn't seem the pilot set the squak to 7700. Not sure if this is normal either.
