Think about it. Biologically speaking Matt(daredevil)is more bat-like than Bruce( Batman). Bruce relies on his man-made gadgets to fight crime unlike Matt who relies on his bat-like characteristics to fight crime.

What bat-like characteristics you may ask...well matt is blind and much like bats he doesn't rely on his sight to navigate the world. And much like bats he uses things like sound waves, vibrations and echoes to move around.

The only thing that batman has similar to bats is that he lives in a cave, fights crime at night, had a thing about bats while young(just to summarize it) and uses fear of bats( or him coz he's literally batman lol) to his advantage while fighting crime. Might I add that he literally dares them to fight him.

So daredevil is more like a bat-man trapped inside a devil's costume and batman is a dare-devil trapped in a bat's costume. It's funny coz they are literally each others opposites😂
