24 with a law degree but feeling underemployed in compliance. How do I pivot?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a new job in entry level financial crime compliance because my current job (just joined 3 months ago) turned out to be compliance (L1) in a corporate governance sense, as a result my job scope ended up looking like administrative, cum corporate secretary. And i more or less only am tasked with "complying" with checklists, and filling requirements that the banks handed out, and am barred from accessing company information except the basic ones, which makes me feel very frustrated as I dont think it's helping me grow in the direction i aspire (I want to be an AML investigator). Im 24, and i have a law degree, and have worked in a law firm (paralegal tho) so i know i can be better suited for other jobs, and frankly i feel really underemployed rn. But whenever i go for interviews and screening calls, it doesnt help that my limited job scope is "low level" (which is true, since work is mostly administrative) so I am unable to describe my tasks in a way that demonstrate how my skills/competence might be valuable to the company.

Any advice?
