hi everyone! I’m currently in Biomedical Science at UofG and I’m considering switching into Biological Science before course selection this summer.

my main reasons are having more flexibility with courses and protecting my GPA while still keeping med school as a goal.

I was wondering if anyone here has made the switch from Biomed to Biological Science (or knows someone who has). do you regret it at all, or was it the better decision for you? how did it affect course selection, med school plans, workload, research opportunities, etc.?

also, was the switching process straightforward?

I’d really appreciate any honest advice or experiences. thank you!
